This Great Day Trip to the Beautiful Town of
Soller Should be on top of your "To Do" list when visiting Palma
De Mallorca.
The ricketty wooden train takes
you to Soller, slowly but surely winding it's way up the slopes
of the Traumuntera mountains through the orange and lemon groves.
Soller, in the heart of the Traumunta mountain range, has a large
square full of pavement cafe's perfect for whileing away a sunny
afternoon. From Soller there are trams which take you down to the
port where there are many nice restaurants (and a fair few tourist
traps so choose carefully). Once in the port you can take a trip
on a boat or just sit on a pier with your feet dangling in the water
watching the world go by.
